Arrival at Delhi

Wander India Tours welcomes you to Delhi! Our representative will meet you at the Delhi international airport and transfer to the pre-booked hotel where you receive a garland welcome. The rest of the day is free at leisure or you can enjoy your own. In the evening, explore the local markets of Delhi city. You can even visit the busy markets of Chandi Chowk in Old Delhi. Later enjoy the dinner at an ethnic restaurant and then stay overnight at the hotel.

Delhi Sightseeing

Enjoy a delicious dinner in the morning and explore the famous attractions of Delhi city. The capital city can be explored in two parts. In the first half, you will explore the popular attractions of Old Delhi including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat-a Gandhi memorial, and others. In the afternoon, enjoy the lunch and explore the prominent attractions of New Delhi including India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Qutub Minar, Lotus temple, Gurdwara Bangla Sahib and other attractions. The evening is free to enjoy your own activities or you can even go shopping. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Delhi – Mandawa

The next destination of the tour is Mandawa which is home to many Forts, Havelis, and Palaces. Enjoy the breakfast in the morning and then leave for Mandawa. The city is also quite popular for having an Open Art Gallery. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and then leave to explore the famous attractions of the city including Sewaram Saraf Haveli, Ram Pratap Nemani Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, and others. In the evening, you will stroll through the markets of Mandawa for shopping. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Mandawa – Bikaner

After a delicious breakfast in the morning, our representative will drive you to Bikaner. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later visit Junagarh Fort which comprises a large number of courtyards, cubicles, and balconies. Later in the afternoon, visit the camel breeding farm as it is one of the prime attractions of Bikaner. The city is also quite popular for its snacks and sweets which are famous all over the country. Return back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Bikaner – Jaisalmer

In the morning, you can go for some shopping. Later return back to the hotel, enjoy your breakfast and then check-out from the hotel as you will be heading to the next destination- Jaisalmer. En-route, explore some villages to experience the Indian village culture and lifestyle. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure or you can enjoy your own activities. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Jaisalmer Sightseeing

The 6th day of the tour is to explore the famous attractions of Jaisalmer city. After breakfast in the morning, visit a Lodurva village which is located around 15kms from Jaisalmer. The village is home to various architectural ruins and famous Jain Temples. Later visit Golden fort on Trikuta Hill. In the evening experience a camel ride on Sam sand dunes. Later, explore the local markets, followed by dinner. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

Enjoy a healthy breakfast in the morning and then leave for a next destination, Jodhpur. The city is located on the landscape of the Thar Desert. On arrival, check-in to the pre-booked hotel and explore the famous attractions of Jodhpur city. The first place to explore in the city is Mehrangarh fort which consists of various palaces and a museum. Also visit other attractions of the city including Umaid Bhawan Palace, Brahmapuri city and others. In the evening, explore the local markets of the city and buy some handicraft products. Later, enjoy dinner and then stay overnight at the hotel.

Jodhpur – Udaipur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and you will be driven to Udaipur. Udaipur is also known as the City of Lakes as you will find many lakes here in the city. The place is quite popular for its old Rajputana culture and tradition. Upon arrival, check in at the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Udaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will begin your sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Some of the prominent places to explore in the city include Sahelion-Ki-Bari, the Museum of folk art, City Palace- the biggest palace in India, and others. Later in the afternoon, you can go for a boat ride on the lake Pichola. In the evening if time permits, you can enjoy shopping in the local markets. Later enjoy the dinner at any famous restaurant in the city. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Udaipur – Pushkar

The next city in the loop is Pushkar. The city is quite popular for Pushkar camel fair festival and is one of the popular pilgrimage destinations. After breakfast, you will be driven to the Pushkar city. On arrival check in to the hotel and later leave to explore the famous attractions of the city including Pushkar Lake (also known as Pushkar Sarovar), Jagatpita Brahma temple, and other places. In the evening, you can explore some nearby markets to your hotel. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Pushkar – Jaipur

Enjoy the breakfast in the morning and then leave for Jaipur-also known as the Pink city of Rajasthan. After reaching, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. In the evening, explore local markets of Jaipur city and buy some handicrafts products like precious stones, jewelry, paintings, etc. Later, come back to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Jaipur Sightseeing

After a delicious breakfast in the morning, you will leave to explore the famous attractions of Jaipur city. The first attraction to visit in the city is Amber Fort, located on the hilltop where you can take an elephant ride to reach a top of the hill. Other attractions to visit in the city include Jaigarh Fort, Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds), Jal Mahal, and others. In the evening, visit an ethnic restaurant called Chowki Dhani where you can witness enjoy folk dance and cultural program, followed by a traditional dinner. Later return back to a hotel to stay overnight.

Jaipur – Ranthambore

Today after breakfast in the morning, you will leave for Ranthambhore. During the journey, you will be very comfortable and you can enjoy the spectacular view. After arriving at Ranthambhore, you will be guided to the hotel/resort for an overnight stay. Rest of the day is free to enjoy your own activities and witness the incredible beauty of nature.

Ranthambore National Park

Get up early in the morning and then go for an early morning jeep safari to Ranthambore National Park. During your safari, you can encounter various wildlife creatures tigers, leopards, dears, etc. The national park is one the best tiger conservations in India which is spread over an area of around 392 sq km. later return back to your resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, you will visit other nearby sanctuaries including the Mansingh Sanctuary and the Kaila Devi Sanctuary. Here also, you will get to witness various wildlife animals and the park is quite famous for its tigers. In the evening, return back to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ranthambore – Agra

The next attraction of the tour is Agra. After a healthy breakfast in the morning, you will leave for Agra. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and refresh yourself. Later, leave to visit one of the seven wonders in the world- Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a great symbol of love. In the evening, visit marble factories as the city is quite popular are manufacturing high-quality of marbles. Later, enjoy the dinner at any traditional Mughali restaurant and then return to the hotel to stay overnight.

Agra – Delhi (Departure)

Your 16 days tour comes to an end here. After breakfast, you will be driven back to Delhi and then transferred to the airport to board a flight for further destination.
